I couldn’t decide what to call this dish…hence just calling it ‘dish’. I always think stew has a bit of a negative connotation so it didn’t feel right to call it that. So let’s just stick with dish and I’ll get on with it!
Fruit in savoury dishes can be a bit controversial and admittedly, I’m not always a big fan of orange in main courses. However the orange in this dish combined with the honey, tamari (you can use soy sauce if you aren’t coeliac or intolerant to gluten) and sweet potato really works. Be warned though, it is pretty moreish!
This would also make a nice side dish if you wanted to leave out the chicken and serve with duck and salad.
As always, this dish is completely free of dairy and gluten. If you are vegetarian or vegan, simply leave out the chicken and it’s still absolutely delicious.
